  1. Looking Inside The OA 35 Puro
The 35P or the 35 Puro is from Ocean Alexander's new Puro series and represents the first model completed in the new series. The first 114-foot hull made its debut at the 2024 Palm Beach Show. This yacht is truly a different direction for Ocean Alexander and has quickly gained consumer interest. Ocean Alexander's boats tend to be American specific in styling and layout. With the Puro series it's clear there has been a shift towards European styling.
  2. The Puro design is by Giorgio M. Cassetta who took the concept more in the direction of European aesthetics. Ocean Alexander suggests the design is to appeal to a global audience. As you move throughout the boat you will see a celebration of wood in the form of Mahogany timber treated in such a way that it resembles Teak.
  3. Onboard there are 5 guest cabins with the master located on the forward main deck while the remainder of the guest cabins are on the lower deck arranged as two doubles (that are sized as VIPs) and two twins. The twins can have the beds come together to form a double if required, giving flexibility on charter or to meet the needs of the owner. The master suite is full-beam enveloping the width of the forward portion of the yacht. The yacht's beam is actually 24.5-feet just to give you an idea of the space available.
  4. The public interior spaces are contemporary in nature with furniture by Poltrona Frau and the styling is to a Nautique finish although there is a more modern interior scheme that can be chosen should a client want to go in that direction. Large side windows dominate the spaces whether it is the main salon or the skylounge areas.
  5. The GRP trideck model has a 7.4-meter beam that helps create the 274 GT interior volume. However, the exterior deck spaces are also designed towards guest relaxation. The aft deck at the level of the lower deck swim platform has a nice feature built-in. The swim platform is sizable and can carry a tender up to 1,000 kg. To get that tender into the water there is a transformer built into the swim platform. This makes it also handy for boarding or disembarking when Med-moored. Stairs on either side take you up to the aft main deck but there is another feature here when the transom door is opened.
  6. With the transom door folded upwards it reveals a small beach club fitted with movable sofa and chairs along with a wet bar/prep space on the port side and direct access to the engine room. It is a cool space to take respite from the sun and when guests are finished they can make their way easily to the main deck via the aforementioned stairs.
  7. The foredeck, while not in the permanent shade of the beach club has even more lounging and seating real estate. There is a large sofa bed/layout cushion but the centerpiece of the space is a large rectangular jacuzzi. When not in use, the jacuzzi can be covered with sunpad cushions to extend the lounging space further.
  8. There is a full sun deck available on the Puro too. Rather than incorporated secondary helm controls on the forward end of the deck, Ocean Alexander made sure to give the guests full advantage of the space. The sun deck boasts a large central hardtop to which a bar and prep space sits on the starboard side. Nothing is on the opposing port side as the stair well to descend towards the upper deck exists. Aft are removable sectionals and forward are built-in bench seating with accompanying marble-topped tables.
  9. The 35 Puro has a length of 34.6-meters with a beam of 7.44-meters and can carry 10 guests in those 5 cabins. There is room for up to 6 crew as well. She sports a pair of MAN V12 2,000 horse power engines which run her to a top speed of 17-knots. Displacement is around 144 tonnes.
  10. The Ocean Alexander 35P is a testament to Ocean Alexander’s enduring legacy and commitment to excellence, standing as a beacon of innovative design and functionality. With a harmonious blend of luxurious features, this yacht does not simply follow trends but sets a new benchmark. The collaboration between Italian designer, Giorgio M. Cassetta, and naval architect and Andrea Agrusta of NavalHEAD has resulted in a yacht that balances flowing spaces with a chiseled body.
