Icon Yachts Unveil Near 100-foot Motoryacht​

Icon Yachts in the Netherlands serves up their latest yacht design. It's a motoryacht measuring in under 100-feet with a design by Ken Freivokh. The 95-footer is not a concept but a yacht ready to build and is seriously up for sale to a prospective owner, asking 10.5 million Euros. The 172-tonne yacht isn't fast but more a luxury cruiser with an envisioned top-speed around 12-knots. She's electrically driven Hydrosta azimuthing thrusters which get their power from Lithium Ion NMC batteries or SCANIA gen sets or perhaps both depending on the owner's requirements.

This yacht is about taking her time and getting there in style. It isn't boasting humongous dimensions but keeping the idea of small-yacht luxury with eco-friendly operation. Even though she is small the Icon 100 can cruise you to a range over 2,000 nautical miles (2,200 nm). With her slim 2-meter draft, she can access pretty much anywhere in shallow confines of bays and coves worldwide. If you are interested in this yacht, perhaps if you sign contract now, the Icon 100 can be completed in around 18 months from signing.
