  1. Spring 2017 Delivery For Heesen Project 'Nova'
Dutch yacht builder Heesen is eyeing Spring of 2017 to deliver their 50-meter all-aluminium hybrid superyacht currently known as Project 'Nova'. Construction is apace and the yacht is quickly coming together. She has her engines and the superstructure has been mated with the hull as well. The yacht is being built under yard number 17850 and features a design by Omega Yachts and a Beach Club/Villa-inspired interior by Sinot Yacht Design.
  2. Her twelve guests will be slept in six staterooms between the lower and main decks. On many builds, the engine room can be found a short way from guest accommodations on the lower deck. On project Nova they have put in a gym space between the engine room and the guest accommodation and that acts as a buffer allowing much quieter guest berthing. She is a hybrid powered yacht and for a 50-meter has relatively 'small' engines onboard. Twin MTU 12V 2000 M61s are expected to power Nova to 16.3-knots. She also has diesel electric power that if used alone can propel her to just 9-knots. A combination of both she can have Trans-Atlantic range at 12-knots (3,750 nautical miles). Look out for her in Spring 2017 where she is expected to make efficient waves for her owner.
