  1. 55-meter Project 'Pollux' Hits The Water At Heesen
Another 55-meter superyacht splashes into the water from Heesen this year. Hot on the heels of the delivery of the 55-meter "Solemates" (ex. Project 'Castor), the Dutch yard has launched the 55-meter Project 'Pollux', part of Heesen's 55M Steel line. The exterior is by the usual suspect in Frank Laupman of Omega Architects while the interior again is another Bannenberg and Rowell symphony.
  2. Six cabins that can sleep twelve guests are fitted into the 760 GT interior space. The master suite is on the main deck and measures a handsome 82 square meters and is fitted with ensuite facilities for him and her. There are standup shower as well as tub arrangements in the suite. In terms of decor, there are subdued tones like taupe and creams with accent lightning in the tray ceiling above the bed. A VIP cabin sits on the bridge deck while two doubles and two twins are on the lower deck for guests.
  3. The main saloon is spacious and light filled, so is the sky lounge on the above deck. The sundeck features an expansive 100 square meter space that guests will surely take advantage of for the outdoor nature and views as well as relaxation it provides. Project Pollux will have a range of around 4,500 nautical miles at 13-knots and be able to sprint to just under 16-knots with her pair of MTU 8V 4000 M63s. Stand-out features onboard include a beach club/wellness region in the stern of the vessel (the tenders are on the bow), a jacuzzi on the forward sun deck with immense sunpads, al-fresco dining and cocktail areas around the yacht.
