Heesen has a number of projects in the works at present and many of them are more advanced than others. 60-meter Project 'Ceres' is one of them that is early in the process. The yacht appears to be a slight evolution of the 55-meter steel series and of course offering a bit more space onboard stretching to concept to 60-meters. Many of the amenities found in the current 55-meter steel line will be found in the 60-meter project Ceres plus more when she completes in 2023.

The previous 55-meter Steel series was comprised of yachts like "Laurentia", "Azamanta", "Solemates" and "Pollux" have an internal GT volume between 740 and 760 GT. By virtue of being a couple meters longer, Project Ceres internal volume will grow to approximately 1,060 GT while offering guest accommodation in six (6) cabins for up to twelve (12) guests. This is broken down as follows; a full-beam owner’s stateroom, four double guest suites and one VIP suite. The exterior design is by Omega Architects while the interior is to be decided still.

Power for the 60-meter variant will be dual MTU Diesel 8V4000M63. These powerplants are likely to permit a 15.5-knot top speed while at 13-knots have a decent ocean-crossing 4,500 nautical mile range based on a full tankage of 125,000 LT. The yard suggests that aspects of the yacht will be allowed to be customizable for the owner. For example, the bow can either be finished with a touch-and-go helipad or be completed as an open al-fresco lounging area for guests. The VIP-suite can be placed on the upper deck on the starboard side if an owner prefers this, the beach club at the stern can be a spa combination as well since there is added room with the tender storage being forward in the bow supported by side gull-wing shell doors. There is 149 square meters of space available to guests on the sundeck as well, very spacious. Project Ceres is currently for sale and expected to complete build by 2023.
