  1. 50-meter Heesen Project 'Akoya' To Be Handed Over In June
Think "Ice Angel", "Septimus" and "Monaco Wolf", they are 50-meter sisterships to Project 'Akoya'. The new 50-meter was launched last month and is presently being prepared to conduct her round of sea trials on the North Sea before hand over to her owner. The design of hull YN17650 is by Omega Architects with an interior by Cristiano Gatto. She should be fairly easily identifiable from outside with her stunning shark grey colour hull.
  2. On the interior, the sophisticated styling of Gatto comes to life. Guests will enjoy the living and private spaces onboard. There is a six-cabin layout to allow Project Akoya to sleep twelve. That layout is pretty traditional with the master suite on the forward main deck and the guest accommodation on the lower deck. A VIP-grade suite (full-beam in nature) along with two doubles and two twins - that are configurable to doubles if needed-. The interior is pinned on the duel between white and brown utilizing different materials to match the concept. This 50-meter sub 500GT superyacht should be able to reach a top speed of 23-knots with her twin MTU 16V 4000 M73Ls. Built in all-aluminium, Project Akoya is expected to be handed over to her owner in June. Look at the side profile photo it appears to show a back-lit 'ML' on her side lending credibility to her possible final name being "My Loyalty".
