Ever heard of Greenline Yachts? They are a small yacht manufacturer that is based in Slovenia. They concentrate on yachts under 100-feet at the moment and are quickly expanding their offering. One of the models they make is the Greenline 48 FLY, yes a flybridge cruiser that packs some punch below decks. The Greenline 48 FLY is the current flagship of their Flybridge line that also includes 33, 39, 40 and 44-foot models.

On the lower deck you, accommodations and provisions for guests and owner is provided in cabins. Six persons can be comfortably lodged onboard without fuss. There is an option to have a small cabin for the captain as well. The interior is offered in white oyster color/ golden teak furniture/cream melange upholstery.

The lower deck is also home to a pair of Volvo-Penta D3 110 HP engines but there is also option to use manufacturers Yanmar and Cummins with comparable engine packages. 1,500 LT can be stored onboard and the useful range at about 7.5-knots is 900 nautical miles. Basic dimensions are an LOA of 14.99-meters, BOA of 4.80-meters and a draft of just under 1-meter (0.98-meters). Some interesting extras (options) that can be had include hybrid propulsion option and a solar roof. As seen in the aerial photos, the solar photo-voltaic membrane can be seen.

In Electric Drive Mode the vessel can be navigated in and out of a marina or anchorage with no noise, no smoke and an insignificant wake. At 4-knots a fully charged battery pack provides a range of up to 20 miles. The battery bank stores energy derived from the solar roof and also when the boat is underway...the diesel engine propels the boat and drives the alternator, which recharges the battery pack. Greenline's models incorporate solar cells to help with energy demands. The 48 FLY from Greenline starts at around 535,000 Euros.
