  1. Riva Launches First 110 Dolce Vita
Italian luxury yacht manufacturer Riva has launched the first unit in their 110 Dolce Vita model. The yacht splashed down recently (March 22) and marks a long-awaited milestone for the company. The 110 Dolce Vita is currently one of the largest -launched- yachts in their offering. Of course they have carded a 50-meter in their new Superyacht range. The GRP-made luxury yacht is a flybridge variant and stretches 34-meters in length.
  2. The Ferretti Group commented on the recent launch. "For the largest Riva ship we have chosen a name that is still endowed with sparkle and charm," explained Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group. "Cruising on this amazing 33-meter yacht is an aesthetic and emotional experience akin to the amazement felt by anyone watching the passing of Rex, the famous cruise ship featured in the film Amarcord, another of Federico Fellini's masterpieces."
  3. Accommodation onboard is for up to ten guests across two levels. The owner gets a full-beam master suite on the forward main deck while guests get to choose from four VIP-grade double cabins on the lower deck. Lodging for up to five crew is also available. Performance is always key for Riva craft and as expected there is an MTU power package onboard. A pair of MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesel powerplants can run this luxury speedster to 26-knots and cruise her at a decent 23-knots. Riva is expected to have a glitzy unveiling of the 110 Dolce Vita in Monaco in May.
