First 30.5M Ferretti Yachts 1000 Launched In Italy

The first unit of the 30.5-meter Ferretti Yachts 1000 model has been launched in Italy. The first hull was sold and has an owner, in fact it will be delivered to a French owner. There are a couple other hulls in the works at present. The design on the exterior is by Filippo Salvetti while the interior is by IdeaeITALIA.

Five cabins are onboard for guest accommodation taking the overnight lodging capability to ten guests. Five crew will be on hand to operate the vessel as well as take care of the guests. The interior volume of the 1000/01 is 190GT which is quite spacious for a couple. The aft end of the vessel is where many will gather because it is close to the sea but also a comfy place to be thanks to the abundance of aft-facing seating on the transom. Additionally there is a high-low platform integrated into the swim platform. That allows for guests to literally be able to walk straight into the water or maybe even stow a jet ski on chocks. There is already storage for a jet ski and jet tender in the garage. The whole area can be shaded by a removable sun awning.

Dual MTU 16V 2000 M96L marine diesels are onboard and have the capability to produce a top speed of 28-knots. The fast cruising speed will likely be in the 23-knot range. The yacht's construction was made out of GRP for the hull and Carbon fiber for the superstructure. Other special features seen on the yacht include the main deck saloon/dining area can be opened up on either side thanks to sliding doors, increasing views as well as natural wind flow when desired. There is a sizable sun deck available too with a hardtop covering the forward portion. The aft section is home to outdoor seating and a small bar. Under the hardtop has al-fresco dining and the secondary helm station.
