  1. Bullet 80; Elektra 90 Unveiled By Filo Yachts
Filo Yachts is a new builder on the yachting scene and they are making themselves known to the industry by offering a couple models. They first announced their arrival to the business officially at the Venice Show earlier in the year and the builder has been quietly working on their first yacht the Suerte 70. That vessel is expected to be launched and completed later this year. The other two, new models which they unveiled are the Bullet 80 and the Elektra 90.
  2. These are all vessels that are under the 100-foot mark. The Bullet 80 appears to take much of its inspiration from the automotive world in terms of swooping lines. No mistaking this vessel for its intended purpose which is to provide a customized experience for the owner while not compromising on performance. The company expects a 45-knot top speed from this yacht. 3 x 1100 horse power VOLVO engines appear to the standard but the optional engine package uses a pair of 2,000 horse power MAN engines. The LOA is 23.90-meters, a beam of 6.20-meters and a weight of 47-tonnes. DYD contributed to the Naval Architecture of this yacht.
  3. The other yacht they have on offer is called the Elektra 90 and as the model name suggests, the yacht is around 90-feet long and has a hybrid propulsion setup. Her appearance goes in the opposite direction to both the Suerte 70 and Bullet 80 which are all about performance. Top speed is anticipated to be around 18-knots as she is more of a displacement cruiser. Filo Yachts suggest that this model will be able to run for around 120 minutes emissions free at 5-knots which is handy for marina/port movements or even in environmentally sensitive areas. The LOA is 27.40-meters with a beam 6.80-meters and a weight of approximately 90-tonnes.
