92-meter Superyacht "Aquarius" Launched At Feadship

What is your sign? That's a question some people ask and it's clear this very experienced customer is an Aquarius. That is also the name of the latest launch from Dutch superyacht builder Feadship. "Aquarius" is the third large yacht for this particular owner. Technically advanced with quiet features and a complex LED lighting suite, this superyacht is finished to a high degree. At launch, the yacht appears as if she is already waiting for delivery and once sea trials are satisfactorily completed she will be officially delivered.

The 300-foot superyacht was built as Project 'Touchdown' and hull 695 to a design by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. The interior is by this firm as well. The Naval Architecture is the work of De Voogt Naval Architects. The owner had a few words to say regarding his new possession. “We dedicated two years of intense design work on Aquarius,” remarked the client. “As a result, she represents a perfect marriage of interior and exterior, and seamless integration with the sea. I am convinced that Aquarius will become a future benchmark for global superyacht excellence.”

Rising over five expansive decks above the waterline, the owners have an entire deck to themselves while the other twelve guests can be slept in six ohter luxurious accommodations. The interior blends the owner's experiences with luxury, utilizing many personal pieces and items throughout the interior. Aquarius will be able to roam the oceans for 5,500 nautical miles at 12-knots and sea trials will confirm what exactly her top speed is.
