Feadship Delivers 70-meter Superyacht "JOY"

Dutch superyacht manufacturer Feadship has delivered their latest superyacht. The 70-meter luxury yacht "JOY" is the vessel we are referring to. She departed Feadship's facilities and was seen in English waters for a pitstop before heading towards Mediterranean waters. JOY is designed by the Bannenberg & Rowell Studio and stands out for her interesting sculpted exterior surfaces. The interior was produced by Studio Indigo.

JOY was built as YN812 and since she was launched we had not heard of many features of the interior now that she is delivered, there are a few features to mention. The owner is relatively young and wanted a vessel that was different from what most had. That was certainly achieved on this Bannenberg & Rowell exterior. The interior in the foyer is said to have a cantilevered wooded staircase which wraps around the elevator and connects all guest decks. The vessel also has a spacious beachclub in the transom that can be accessed via two ways either through aft deck 'bomber-styled' doors or from the transom hatch. The owner's suite is situated on the forward upper deck and features a 270 degree field of view from inside the cabin thanks to the ample wrapping of glass. As the owner steps out of that state room they has extensive teak-finished real estate to call their own to outfit and decorate however chosen. We look forward to seeing her arrive in Mediterranean ports very soon.
