Dominator Yachts recently splashed a new yacht, the 27.35-meter "Cadet V". The GRP-built luxury vessel is a member of Dominator's Illumen line. Her racy, sharp and sportive lines are the work of AM Yacht Design while the interior as seen in the latter photos is a modern contemporary affair thanks to Luca Catino. The yacht was christened in Fano, Italy at the launch in the customary way with the breaking of a champagne bottle on the bow.

The interior is an examination in style and luxury finishing. With its light and airy feel thanks to the large windows on offer, the neutral tones assist the comfortable feel onboard. Blacks are strategically utilized to offer contrast to the neutral palette as can be seen below in the photo representative of the main saloon. Staying true to the Illumen theme, LED lighting adds the 'pizazz' to the interior, taking it to another level.

Onboard you will find accommodation for ten guests in five cabins. The master suite is forward on the main deck and is full-beam in nature. A special feature besides the full-height glazing on either side is the large skylight situated over the master bed. Don't worry, a shade can be pulled over to maintain your privacy. The crew are also taken care of with accommodation for four of them. The Dominator is a boat built for speed and even though sea trials have not started as yet we expect a top-end speed of 27.5-knots. High performance does not come cheap but if you want to extend the range of the vessel, at a continuous 13-knots, 700 nautical miles can be achieved.
