  1. Notable Yacht Projects Underway At Delta Marine
Delta Marine has been a part of the storied and varied heritage and history of North American yacht building and the yard continues to push on in the modern day with projects that are a result of the yard having to evolve design as market and owner trends continue to shift. On the smaller end of three projects the yard is working on is the 38-meter Longtail design. There is also the 45.3-meter Project 'Zembra' that has been under construction as well as the 47.4-meter Project 'Discovery'.
  2. The 38-meter or 125-feet Longtail design is penned by Roberto Curtò out of Italy. Normally when you think of Delta Marine in the past they typically kept most of the processes to building their yachts in-house...from design, construction, finishing and fitting. “The partnership brings together two design cultures- Delta’s heritage of building world-class yachts in the Pacific Northwest and Curtò’s avant-garde approach to life on the water,” said Delta Marine.
  3. Eight guests are envisioned to be slept in 5 cabins onboard. Two guest, two VIP grade and the master suite on the forward main deck comprise the guest accommodation. With the project's name Longtail you can look to the aft main deck and see the inspiration. A long aft deck that has been design for total guest relaxation poolside and waterside with ample al-fresco, lounging and sunpadded areas to soak-in the vistas and sun at your favourite anchorage. When the side decks are in place and not being used, the pool and a sunbed can be still used but fold down the terraces and impressive additional real estate becomes available embodying the essence of the design.
  4. Project Zembra is a project actively under construction at the yard. The vessel is described as a highly technical custom yacht at 45-meters being built by an experienced owner. It will carry the superyacht 3 model submarine from Uboat Worx on the transom. Additionally the yacht will have a custom chase boat. That vessel will be a custom 50-foot aluminium catamaran from JR Marine. It will also help in the handling of operations of the submarine.
  5. Designed as a globe-trotting vessel, Zembra prioritizes efficiency, range and operational confidence, supported by engineering decisions rooted in decades of offshore experience. Her styling is deliberately timeless, allowing capability and functionality to remain at the forefront, qualities that resonate strongly with owners seeking adventure without compromise.
  6. The other vessel is currently known as Project Discovery and as the name suggests the yacht combines robust engineering with a wellness-forward onboard lifestyle. Therefore it will not be surprising to see amenities onboard like a gym, sauna and cold plunge are seamlessly integrated into a flexible deck arrangement. The design of the vessel is in collaboration with Dasha Moranova Designs.
