  1. Dockwise Yacht Transport "Yacht Servant" Delivered
Dockwise Yacht Transport (DYT) has another new super yacht carrier delivered to them. Their latest is a 213.7-meter vessel called "Yacht Servant" -clearly a melding on two of their previous vessels names- . It is approximately 30-percent larger than the current "Yacht Express" flagship. Yacht Servant is now the third yacht carrier that DYT operates. The official delivery took place on January 4, 2022, at Yantai CIMC Raffles Shipyard, China. A few days later the vessel left for its maiden voyage from Shanghai to Panama.
  2. The new vessel is more advantageous for a number of reasons. It is much larger and therefore will be able to hold more yachts in one sailing. The operating depth needed for the vessel is also less, needing 'just' 9-meters versus 14-meters of the others in the fleet. Yacht Servant also meets IMO Tier III standards with the help of being 32-percent more efficient than her fleetmates. Top speed is around 15.1-knots with a service speed of 13.5-knots burning 33.6 tons of fuel per day. Main Engine 2 x 5200 kW and Auxiliary Engines 2 x 1400 kW. Accommodation will be for 28 crew members and 32 riders and the vessel has an endurance of about 60 days.
  3. In total her deck space encompasses some 6,380 square meters. There is also a smaller storage area behind the bridge that is separate from the main loading deck. This will allow more versatility with the storage of mission-specific containers, tenders and other smaller racing boats perhaps. "We’re all hugely excited about the addition of Yacht Servant to our semi-submersible fleet," Richard Klabbers, Managing Director of DYT Superyacht Transport commented. "Her sheer size and volume allow for so much more capacity, and we’re looking forward to discovering how the vessel’s additional capabilities – such as onboard cranes, reduced board draft and increased submerged draft – will further what we can deliver."
