  1. 62-meter Hull 138 Takes Shape At CRN
The latest build at Italian yard CRN is being transformed and now gives us a better look at how she will appear when completed. The vessel under the microscope is the 62-meter Hull 138. This is a yacht with construction in steel for the hull and aluminum for the superstructure. One of the notable features is the tender garage being up front enclosed in the bow and a straight bow design.
  2. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects has been responsible for the exterior design of Hull 138 while the interior is the work of Pulina Exclusive Interiors. The interior will be able to sleep more guests than the usual twelve. In fact up to sixteen are expected to be able to be accommodated. The arrangement starts with the owner's private full-beam sanctuary, a VIP grade cabin and a mixture of doubles and twins.
  3. At this stage the shell of the yacht is completed and she now has been moved to another shed to have her functional internals fitted out with ducting, insulation, pipes, cables and wires in preparation for the fancy interior to be put together. Hull 138 is being built to Lloyds Classification with an LY3 Statement of Compliance. Top speed will be 15-knots with a 4,500 nautical mile range at 12-knots provided by a pair of CAT marine diesels. Other amenities onboard include a touch-and-go helipad on the bow, a pool on the aft deck, convenient guest elevator servicing all decks.
  4. Additional information for hull 138, she has a 62-meter LOA, 10.60-meter beam and a draft of 3.10-meters. A gross tonnage of around 1,160 should provide for generous internal room along with her 35-foot width. Regularly this yacht will see fourteen guests accommodated in seven cabins. As we can see in the photo below, the yacht is taking shape and fully put together ready for her internal functional aspects to be fitted out. Completion is expected for 2021.
