  1. Progress On Mazu 92DS Build
Around this time last year YF alerted you to the news of Mazu Yachts entering the Steel displacement market with the introduction of the Mazu 92DS. It has been a year since the introduction and now is a good time to catch up on the progress made on the build so far. Before now, just renderings were available of what the yacht will look like when it is completed. The design is by Red Yacht Design which features a steel hull and a composite superstructure will be fixed atop.
  2. Engineering of the vessel is by Profjord. The interior too is done by Red Yacht Design. Recently, Mazu Yachts successfully turned the hull in preparation for the next construction phases. Internally the 92DS will carry eight guests in four cabins with the full beam master suite located forward taking advantage of the huge hull windows towards the bow. As you can see from the construction photo, the master suite will be pretty far forward, especially the ensuite.
  3. Triple Volvo Penta IPS 1050s will run the vessel close to 22-knots and mark the first time that this engine package is fitted to a steel displacement yacht. This yacht is to be delivered to a Turkish owner and the yard has started build on a second hull. One of the standout features onboard the Mazu 92DS is the beach club area where the aft deck transforms into a relaxing area when the side bulwarks fold down, furniture is added and the transom doors open up to allow indoor / outdoor flow. In the future, the next Mazu DS model will likely be the Mazu 112DS as the yard has been making preparations to start this build.
