News: Columbus S50 "K2" Launched

50-meter Columbus S50 Superyacht "K2" Launched

If there is a 2021 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) that is where you will find Columbus Yacht's newest superyacht, the 50-meter (49.5-meter) S50 model named "K2". This yacht has been launched and in the water and already commenced sea trials. K2 is almost ready for delivery to her owner. The design of the vessel is by Luca Dini with an interior also by Luca Dini Design. This yacht will be delivered to an experienced client who has built with the Columbus/Palumbo yard before. In fact this is their third yacht with the Italian yard.

Onboard the S50 provides accommodation for up to eleven (11) guests in five (5) cabins. The interior volume onboard doesn't exceed 499GT. It appears her top speed in just shy of 22-knots with two MTU engines each rated at 2,600 horse power. Her cruising speed should be 15 to 16-knots. K2's delivery will not be far away and later in the year we hope to see her on the water and at major yacht shows around the world for her debut.
