Something new is presently under construction at Canados. Actually the vessel is also a new direction in terms of look for this yard. The Oceanic 100 Shadow as the name implies is a 100-foot vessel intended to provide shadow-support duties. Chief among those duties is tender and toy storage. While the interior volume is 170 GT, the deck space aft of the forward superstructure is immense for a vessel this size. It will be able to pack in a 7-meter as the main tender, a 5-meter tender, 8 sea bobs and 4 PWCs.

The 100 Shadow is being built in all-GRP and is expected to complete in 2023. The design, especially on the hull, does echo style attributes from regular Canados yachts but the interior is designed by Cristiano Gatto. As a shadow type vessel she will still be able to provide accommodation for up to six guests in three cabins while there is room for four crew members. The cabins for guests are large enough to be called suites and the breakdown of accommodation sees a full-beam master suite, a VIP and a twin or double cabin. To help her fit the role twin diesels will be fitted to provide a top end near 25-knots and a cruising speed of 20-knots.
