  1. Moonen Martinique Build Progress
Recently, the Moonen Martinique model came together, literally. The aluminium superstructure was joined to the steel hull and the two became one marking a major milestone in the yacht's construction. Project manager for the yacht Nicky van Zon says, "There are perhaps three major moments in the build of a yacht after the laying of the keel. The marriage of the hull and superstructure is the first as you get a visual impression of the true shape of a boat. The other two milestones are when the boat comes into the daylight for the first time and the launch itself. It is fascinating to see how much volume this 350 GT superyacht has now that she is taking shape, with her 290 square meters of luxury and crew area plus some 180 square meters of al fresco options."
  2. This is the latest yacht in Moonen's Caribbean series, hull number two but the first Martinique. Accommodation for twelve guests will be in in five cabins. Rene van der Velden is behind the yacht's exterior design while Nauta Yachts have penned the original interior design. Of course a prospective owner can come in a have the interior changed to their tastes at this point in the build. At this point, the 37-meter yacht is on course to be completed for the Spring of 2018.
