  1. New Bering 65 Expedition Under Construction
Bering yachts recently announced that they have another new build Bering 65 in the works. The Bering 65 is arguably one of the most popular Bering models and quietest as well. She will be built with a steel hull and mated with an aluminium superstructure. The 235,000 lbs displacement vessel is set out to have its interior finished in American Walnut. It is a three-stateroom layout for guests onboard this Bering 65 and sleeping quarters for two crew members.
  2. She is an ocean-going expedition yacht and designed to operate in tough conditions. She will have an astounding 5,000 nautical mile range at around 7-knots carrying 4,500 gallons of fuel. The Bering 65 will be the third in the production Expedition line from Bering Yachts. Living onboard primarily exists on two internal decks but there is a flybridge that has the forward part covered by a hardtop. The aft section will be used to store the yacht’s tenders.
  3. All aspects of each deck on the exterior are easily accessible thanks to walkaround decks as well as provision of stairs. Aluminium handrails line the bulwarks to provide the extra element of safety as this is a boat built for tough conditions. If you are into steel expedition yachts, the Bering 65 is a great choice and they have one under construction right now.
