News: Benetti Completes First Oasis 40 "Rebeca"

"Rebeca"; First Benetti Oasis 40 Delivered To Owners

Benetti has delivered the first unit in their new Oasis 40 line. The yacht was launched back in July and finally has been delivered to the customer and named "Rebeca". The design is something quite different than what we normally see from this Italian builder. The design is in-fact penned by RWD in collaboration with Benetti. The interior is the work of Bonetti/ Kozerski Architecture.

On the exterior there are a number of features that make this yacht stand out with the lines of the yacht being a bit unusual for yachts in this size bracket. A straight bow at the front an a multi-function stern suggests the direction the yard was going with this design. The stern is multi-function from the idea that it can be expanded if needed via lowering bulwarks on either side of the vessel. The stern is represented as a sort-of beach club with the center-piece being a glass-edged pool. With the side terraces folded down, this area of the yacht increases in size and offers better views all around.

There is approximately around 385 GT worth of internal volume that her ten guests can enjoy. They sleep in five cabins which includes the owner's suite. Her powerplants are able to run Rebeca for 4,000 nautical miles at 12-knots or sprint to a top-end of 16-knots when needed. The yacht has now been delivered to her American owner Tim Ciasulli. That name may sound familiar to you if you follow Powerboat Racing.
