  1. Two New Designs Released By Bannenberg Rowell
Noted Design firm Bannenberg & Rowell have released renderings to one of their latest projects. The unveiling actually encompasses two yacht designs they call 'Above' & 'Beyond'. Above is designed at 65-meters while Beyond is 80-meters. The 65-meter Above design is what has been released to the public while the 80-meter will be announced later. Turquoise Yachts are going to be the builders and oddly enough the 80-meter is expected to commence construction on speculation. The design for the 80-meter is probably going to be released at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) later this year.
  2. On the Above design, guests will be able to roam across the vessel's 5 decks with the sun deck having a special feature baked into the design. If being on the sun deck is not high enough for guests to take in the surrounding views then at the back of the mast there is going to be a crow's nest that will be able to take guests from the sun deck to a more elevated position on the back of the mast. It's appeal is having guests be able to take in surroundings like the Monaco Grand Prix or Polar regions of the world from this unique vantage.
  3. Despite the renders seen here, the final design for the Above project can still be tweaked by a potential client. The hull is proposed to be built utilizing an existing hull-platform at Turquoise Yachts. The LOA might even be slightly smaller or larger than what is presented. There is some level of customization the client will be able to exercise. The crew have been given enlarged facilities too with laundry, pantries on each deck, alternate crew passages, and 'oversized crew mess' being highlighted features.
  4. For the guests the yacht's facilities do not disappoint. A wellness area fitted with the usual top-tier facets like a sauna, steam shower, massage room and full gymnasium are designed into the space. There is a beach club too with the usual side shell doors that fold out to the sea. There is a pool on the aft main deck to be fitted with glazing in the bottom to permit natural light to penetrate into the beach club below. Six cabins are envisioned for this platform providing lodging for twelve guests. Stay-tuned later this year for more information on the 80-meter Beyond design.
