News: Baltic Yachts "Pink Gin VI" Emerges

"Pink Gin VI" Rolled Out

The latest yacht to bear the name Pink Gin has emerged at the Baltic Yachts facilities in Finland. "Pink Gin VI" was rolled out of the yard's inland facilities in Bosund and was trucked to their waterfront property in Jakobstad where she will be prepared for actual launch next month. Actually, her launch into the water is planned for May 12th.

Many renderings in the past had her to be finished with a dark green hull but clearly the owners went with a much lighter finish in reality. The design and Naval Architecture of Pink Gin VI is by Judel/Vrolijk with a sumptuous interior by Design Unlimited. Pink Gin VI when delivered will become the largest carbon-composite sloop in the world. Her single 67.9-meter mast is made of carbon fiber too and that will be stepped in the days to come. The Baltic 175 is a ground-breaking yacht and is the sixth yacht to be built for the same owner with the name Pink Gin who happens to be majority owner of the Baltic yard.
