40-meter Custom Yacht Launches At Baglietto​

Something new from Italian yacht builder Baglietto has been launched. Yesterday saw the custom 40-meter Hull 10232 hit the waters around the shipyard. The design comes from the pen of Horacio Bozzo with an interior by Achile Salvagni, which represents the first time a collaboration between the yard and Salvagni has been made on a custom project. Hull 10232 was first announced back in 2018 when construction started for the American client.

Five cabins are onboard to house a maximum of twelve guests if needed. Up to six crew can be slept onboard as well. The raised pilothouse design gives the vessel a different look to the regular designs coming out of this Italian yard. The yacht is powered by dual CAT C32 Acert D engines (1,622 horse power each) which are expected to have the vessel topping-out at 18-knots. At conservative speeds her range is just above 3,000 nautical miles. The new yacht represents Baglietto's first launch of 2020 after taking to the water on June 17th. The all-aluminium yacht is from the yard's fully custom 'line' and is set on a semi-displacement hull measuring 39.75-meters by 8.5-meters and a draft of 2.0-meters.
