A 26-meter yacht from the Aegean Explorer series has been delivered to its owner. The vessel is the first hull in the 26-meter series and kicks off this particular line of yachts from this Turkey-based yard. A second hull in the line is currently under construction and is expected to be delivered in the second-half of 2023. The design of the first hull is actually done in-house by the yard. Construction of the explorer-category vessel is in steel for the hull and aluminum for the superstructure.

The design has the layout over three decks and accommodation is split between the upper, main deck and the lower deck. This 26-meter yacht actually can sleep up to 12 in 6 cabins. The interior's finish is fashioned largely with Oak timbers, lacquered surfaces and some stainless steel elements. Three cabins are on the lower deck and include two twins and a VIP-grade category cabin. A master is on the upper deck too. The internal volume onboard this yacht is approximately 185 GT.

The first hull in this 26-meter vessel - now known as "Ukeil"- is going to be able to take on longer voyages thanks to its relatively economical engines. A pair of MAN 650 horsepower engines are onboard are able to crank-out a modest maximum speed of 12.5-knots. At slower speeds the vessel is able to run for 3,500 nautical miles. Aegean now has four yachts in different stages of build.
