Adler Yachts Working on 25.25-meter Suprema XL Yacht

Ever heard of Adler Yachts? Well they were present at the recently concluded Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) and they were drumming-up support for their new flagship yacht which they have under construction. The yacht does not have an owner yet as it is being built on speculation. The 83-foot yacht showcases design by Italian firm Nuvolari & Lenard. The yacht will be RINA classed and be able to host up to eight guests in four cabins. All the cabins are situated on the lower deck and comprise of a full-beam master suite, a VIP type cabin towards the bow and two twin cabins.

It is a two deck yacht with a flybridge similar to many yachts in this size category. Power will come via a diesel-electric system setup using two CAT C18s and two electric motors. Of course there are the battery banks to store the generated electricity. The yacht will be built in carbon fiber even down to the propellers. Top speed in diesel mode is anticipated to be in the 30-knot region while it will be much less in electric mode but offering silent operation for a while. Adler suggest that they can have this yacht sailing by 2019 and they have the superstructure already completed.
