News: 49M "EIV" Launches In Italy

"EIV" is the latest superyacht to be launched in Italy. The yacht was under construction as Project Vector 50 and she is essentially the second hull in the Vector series after the 63-meter launched back in 2018. The design is by Team 4 Design both on the exterior and interior. On the exterior you will see many hints as the yacht was built for an American client who will be using the vessel in shallow South Florida waters as well as in the Bahamas which resulted in a draft of 2.29-meters.

This sleek 50-meter yacht has Trans-Atlantic range thanks to her all-aluminum construction and low-resistance hull. Additionally, a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L give her the power to sprint to 19-knots but can be throttled back to 10-knots to increase the range above 3,500 nautical miles. If EIV needs to go a bit faster then 15-knots fast cruising speed is within her capability.

Onboard, Enrico Gobbi from Team 4 Design went to work on many of the interior aspects. Some furniture pieces and carpentry were designed by him. In terms of designer fabrics, you will find upholstered pieces by Armani Casa, Hermes and Rebelli. Light and Dark come together in the interior where dark Onyx, brass details and leather are juxtaposed to light timbers and fabrics. The interior plays host to eight guests in four cabins split between the owner's full-beam suite on the forward main deck and four doubles on the lower deck -all ensuite in nature-. There are some automotive design elements to the exterior design and one of them include the highly-polished 'grill' fitted to the bow. At night this piece comes alive with LED-lighting.
