Latest OCEA 108 Nearing Completion

The latest unit in the Ocea 108 model is nearing completion. This one is actually the 4th hull in the model and is anticipated to be launched within the next weeks. The yacht is a 32.7-meter 'commuter style' yacht built in aluminum. With all the spaces onboard fitted out with the relevant machinery, plumbing, piping and fabrication of the interior well underway, attention has turned to the exterior of the vessel where focus on the paintwork.

Onboard the new vessel has interior volume of 190 GT with enough space to comfortably carry eight guests in four cabins on the lower deck. The exterior and interior styling is a bit different from past 108's we have seen before. These aspects were handled by Pierre Frutschi Concept & Design Naval. Although the vessel is a diesel-powered boat, it has been fitted with IMO Tier III category power plants. Additionally there are going to be some solar panels installed as well as batteries to store that energy to help run some of the hotel load.
