  1. Project 'H780' Custom Explorer Coming in 2028
A brand new custom aluminium Explorer Catamaran is about to commence construction. It is currently known as Project H780 and is going to be built by Silver Yachts at their facility located in Jiangmen, China. The vessel is being built for an experienced client who will be taking the vessel on extended global cruising with their family.
  2. The design is by Ker Yacht Design while the interior is the work of Design Unlimited. The hulls are specially formulated to help in efficiency as this project is intended for longer range cruising. At the load line, the vessel has a length of just 23.9-meters. On the beam it boasts a width of approximately 12.9-meters or 42.3-feet which is substantial for a vessel this size. Both long range and comfort are key goals for this vessel as the owner and family will aboard for extended periods.
  3. “We have used advanced CFD and neural-network- assisted optimization to develop the hulls, wave-piercing bows and lifting foil as an integrated hydrodynamic package, combining long-range efficiency with the ability to cover distance quickly when required", said Jason Ker, founder of Ker Yacht Design. The vessel will have a top speed of 25-knots and at that speed will be able to attain a range of 2,000 nautical miles. using quad MAN 850 engines. However, dial back the throttle to 11-knots and the range doubles to 4,000 nautical miles from a fuel capacity of 35,000 LT.
  4. The vessel will also have unusually large tender storage capabilities, the central feature to this being a drive-in tender-lift dock at the stern. This yacht has been carded to commence construction in August 2026 and be launched in March 2028 for delivery in April. From some of the renders, the name on the transom appears to be "Senses II".
