Hey I was just wondering if anyone was going to be in Newport RI this summer. If you are I would love to get a tour of your boat. My experience is mostly on mid size sail boats. I know most of you guys are power boaters. Anyways if anyone is in Newport this June, and would be willing to let me get a chance to check out your boat please let me know. Thank you.

I'm planning a trip to Newport this July for a long weekend. Date still to be confirmed. Be happy to show you around when we are there.

Any recommendations as to bes marinas for a 70' transient slip?

Newport is really busy during the summer. I was there about a month ago for a seminar and it was sort of busy with people but very few boats. It was quite a shock. I remember what it looked like the weekend of the Rolex Swan regatta last summer.

The best think I have heard about getting a slip is to come in early in the day after the start of the Newport to Bermuda race. (June 19th)

    Good luck.
