Kingship to build HT116' Explorer​

Kingship yard based in China, is set to build the Hydro tec 116-foot designed explorer. She will be one of many that the Chinese yard is expected to build. Further details of this first yacht -HT116'- will be revealed at the upcoming 2010 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).

For now, some preliminary details of the HR116' read easily. She has a full length near 113-feet with a 27-foot wide overall beam. 350 tonnes is the expected displacement and a top speed near 13 knots using twin CAT C18 600 HP ACERT engines. As an explorer it is expected she would have a long range and that is stated at 7,000 nautical miles. Look out for a model of her at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in September.
