  1. Trinity Yachts launches 60-meter "Bacarella"

"Bacarella" is the latest yacht to be launched by Trinity. She is 60-meters in length and was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. In build, she had represents one of the larger yachts that Trinity Yachts has built.

"The project is due for delivery in late 2009. She has survived the trauma of Hurricane Katrina and the yacht is now at Trinity's new facility in Gulfport after starting life in New Orleans. Bacarella with exterior styling by Bannenberg & Rowell and Trinity, was launched on June 11 and expertly moved between sheds by John Dane (Trinity CEO) and Billy Smith (Trinity Vice-President) at the helm of powerful tenders."

Bacarella features 2 X CAT 3512B engines each cranking out 2,012 HP each. The nearly 200-foot long luxury yacht was built of steel and aluminum. The hull was fashioned from steel while the superstructure, aluminum. All together when she is completed she will fit the class of ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service, AMS, MCA.

Over the next few months, Bacarella will be trialed and fitted out to meet the delivery time for her owner(s). The interior of this yacht has been designed with a number of exotic woods and fabrics drawn together by Bannenberg & Rowell.

Extensive use of limestone, slate, bronze and panelled woods make up the muted colour scheme of the interior. The interior was built-up by German company Metrica who also created a mock-up of a cabin for the client to approve and review.
