Palmer Johnson launches second PJ170 superyacht

American yacht builder Palmer Johnson recently launched the second yacht in their PJ170 series. Launched a couple days ago the yacht's exterior finishes is pinned on black accents and neutral main colour. Hull two is a near sister to the first hull in the series, the new "DB9". This hull has a slightly different feature located between the mast wings. It appears to be a hardtop that shades and encloses the uppermost deck. She was built under the project name 'Apollo' and has design by Nuvolari Lenard. The interior is also by Nuvolari Lenard with Naval Architecture by Palmer Johnson themselves.

The standard all aluminium superyacht has a five cabin layout to sleep a minimum of ten guests. The 52.20-meter superyacht has a decent 9.50-meter beam despite her slender cross-section. Shallow coves and bays are still your friend thanks to the PJ170's slender 2.44-meter draft. Expect the second hull to be delivered to her new owner by Summer 2014.
