Icon Yachts launches first Icon 62-meter​

Icon Yachts have launched the first of the Icon series of mega yachts. The first yacht is a 62-meter long luxury vessel sure to destined for the charter market. The Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) designed yacht has an interior that was formulated by Studio Linse with project management by Falcon Rydell.

Her deep, dark blue hull is off-set by a beaming white superstructure. Her existence is the culmination of the start of a preliminary short series of three 62-meter mega yachts. The second Icon 62-meter is project "Midlandia", designed to follow the same color scheme as the Benetti Midlandia. The third vessel in the 62-meter trio has been given the project name "Florida". The second vessel is also designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon with a different interior designer. Florida will also have another interior designer.

The first Icon 62-meter is currently conducting tests and final fit-out before being handed over to her owner(s). She will be on display at the up coming 2009 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
