New Design: Icon 50+ meter

Another 50+ meter design from Icon yachts​

Another collaboration with Dutch builder, Icon Yachts has produced another design. This time the yacht design is a proposed 54-meter envisioned to be built in steel and aluminum. Several design companies have already looked at the hull form which has been tank-tested already. One of those companies is HotLab.

The vessel features an overall beam of just over 9-meters. She is sleek and has a low design profile with a near vertical bow making her look fast in the water. Her wheelhouse is set back further than usual thereby enhancing the sleek long bow.

The naval architecture is by Icon Yachts themselves and the exterior and interior styling by Hot Lab. The 710 tonne design is expected to have a top speed in the region of 15 knots with a range of over 4,000 nautical miles. This design concept will also be available for viewing at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in September.
