Finally... after enduring too many uncomfortable nights on the factory "queen size" bed in the master, I rebuilt the pedestal, took out the forward bedside table and added 16" of width to the bed and a new custom latex mattress. Now have a full 66" of width at the head and an enormously comfortable space. Relatively easy job and w-a-y overdue. Recommended.

Nice. My wife an I are not large people but that bed it pretty tight after awhile. The custom mattress we had made was some of the best money we've spent but more sleeping space would be nice.

Stir - access to the bathroom is only marginally impacted, maybe 3 inches. Bed is still tapered at the foot, just w-a-y wider at the head.

By the way... I passed you in the canal on Sunday eastbound. Tried to call you but apparently lost your number. Send me a text please
