    Admins, please delete if not permitted. 60' max length x 30' max beam, short and long term liveaboards accepted, Port of the Islands Marina Naples, no bridges, plus electric and water, wide canal, floating concrete docks, bow to stern length is 60' max firm since dock is port or starboard, newly expanded marina, hurricane harbor, new 25' pilings into rock with 10'+ float, Fuel, pumpout, live tackle, Ship's convenience Store, ice, floating clubhouse with laundry and kitchen, 7-8' depth at slip #A9. Pet conditional with approval. Launch ramp. Adjacent to Port of the Islands Resort Hotel: has a restaurant, pool, kayaks, tennis, pickleball, Everglades/manatee/eco tours, meeting space, etc. (www.poiresort.com) for a fee. Marine Operator's Legal Liability (umbrella, liability, and Owned Watercraft) policies and background check required. Max 5 foot draft at high tide. 3 mile canal to the ocean, Faka Union Canal and associated canal are tidally influenced. Boaters are cautioned to monitor tide phases.     That canal was real dicey 4 years ago for us. We need 4-1/2 ft depth and there were times we couldn’t get in or out of there. Great location but the canal runs through protected lands and ,(my understanding), it can’t be dredged.
    Would love to go back there…….

    Transiting at high tide might not be convenient for some, but the convenience of allowing liveaboards, the hurricane safety of being inland, and possible hurricane insurance discounts make it appealing for many, especially Cats due to the 30' beam allowance and the wide canal to the condo seawall.

    Common sense needs to prevail. They need to make an exception to dredge just the canal. Insurance companies interested in protecting their profits with more hurricane protected slips need to get involved to dredge the canal since they have the clout. There's already a shortage of dock slips.
