    Hi gentlemen,

I'm takin' a look at the new features of Navionics SonarCharts.
IMHO, it's not so easy to decide if they are a great help in water depth looking, or if they give you a number of bathymetric curves too high to be clearly decoded at first look, and with a lot less numbers to read.

Many times you have to follow a bathymetric curve for half the screen to finally find out what actual depth are you engaging with.

I know, sometimes they bring you evidence of shallow water points that normal charts never hilite nor write, but the price for that is that quite all the bathymetric numbers are gone, and you have to challenge your eyes looking for a lost number along the curve you are interested in... Where all the numbers are gone, Navionics?

Any thought, out here? Any direct experience comparing the use of normal navionics charts with a consistent use of new SonarCharts?
