Nobeltec is owned by Jeppesen that i am led to believe is backed by Boeing, yes as in the aircrafts. In the last 6 months Jeppesen has also taken over C-Map, this just shows the resources behind Nobeltec.

I have not worked with Fugawi, so i can't advise you on it.

Nobeltec - There is so many features to the software for example; AIS, radar overlay, 3D bottom, tender tracking, weather overlay and the latest a Sailing package that you will find details on Nobeltec's website. Allot of these features you will find on many software’s and allot you won't need on a B57, but from my experience you can't go wrong with Nobeltec. It just keeps getting better, not falling behind its competitors.

As important as selecting the right software, it is critical that you have a stable, fast computer with a good display. If this isn't up to the job you will have problems at sea.

Hope this helps you make a decision.
