Thank you Bruno for your suggestion. I will probably do a trip, but not as long as Nilo's which was extremely interesting.....thinking of transporting the Squadron to either Italy or Greece and from there taking her on her own keel to Hurghada / Egypt. That would be a journey of about 900nm.

    Regards,

    Tarek

Is great to see English builders continuing to produce quality yachts. I didnt work for, but worked very closely with Fairline and many of the dealers for 2years. I'd been away from them for a while, but was onboard a S74 at Miami show and was reminded how high a quality of yacht they are. IMO the craftsmanship is second to none!

Glad to see fairline pushing themselves to grow and building bigger yachts!

Fantastic insight to the build. 2 boats in a year will start to be a quite expensive hobby! I hope that you enjoy many miles of happy enjoyment.

    regards,
    Old man Time.

My Squadron has been more or less completed and she's now in the water for testing.
The only major item pending on the boat is the wooden floor in the saloon and dining area. The factory now have installed carpets instead, but will install the wooden floor after the London Boat Show. This Squadron will be exhibited in the London Boat Show in January and they have no time to install the wooden floors prior to the show :(.

Your ride keeps getting sweeter with every picture. Are they going to ship her with the dingy and jet ski on deck or are they for the display at the show?

Came out very nice. Are you going for Teak and Holly floors? Remember carpets are also good ,make two sets and velcro them in .In the old days it was a must to a have a teak and holly floors.Times have changed looking at the new technology.
    Wooden floors needs care .
