    Any thoughts on MTY 8V183TE92? Realiability, service, avoid? Motors have 2100 hrs.

    They ran good, were generally reliable but parts are very expensive for them. They also had a design flaw, if the 2 belts broke at anything above 1000 rpms, engine would fry itself before the alarm went off because the belt runs the coolant pump and the raw water pump.
