Let the Internet be your friend

If someone hires you to work on their shadow boat, is your USCG 50 ton good enough to drive one of these grocery getters?

Is a 50ton good enough for what?

If you only have enough seatime for a 50 ton USCG, go for a 200 ton (or 100 ton) mate license/test at the same time. Then when you have the proper seatime your license is automatically upgraded to either 100 or 200 ton.

Just curious if the USCG license is equivalent to the MCA licenses.
I find a lot of job ask about a yacht master offshore or RIB II. And
I my plan to apply for a larger license once I have enough sea time.

    Ask the school

Contact the school and ask the same questions you are asking here.

You spent the time and money.

They should be able to provide some answers.

This is something that should have happened prior to your financial investment; but better late than never.

    Here's a happy thought:

Your job, if your efforts are successful, will provide you with a cot and three hots.

A jail will provide the same.
