Most reliable fuel gauge type?

    Friend wants to change his old fuel gauges,, suspect float type and are now inaccurate, what seems to be the most reliable today ?

    A sight glass!!!!!!!!

    Or these KUS senders recommended by Capt. Ralph, however they come in different lengths (have to measure tank height before ordering them and deduct 1" or so, AND need to know what OHMs your gauges are as they can be ordered in the 3 different OHM types that are common........

    Indeed A sight glass of the tanks are high or a calibrated stick with keel tanks...

    we have headhunter gauges on the lazzara 84 I run for the fuel, water and black water tank. They re ok... but they can be off by 10 to 15%... glad lazzara had calibrated dipstick clipped above the tank...
