4RUNNER still lookin' great man. The 5th gen has aged so well. The all-new 6th gen that debuted last year has a lot of neat, new stuff... but hasn't diminished our 5th gens appeal. Lots of owners are sticking with the old-tech versions.
It’s a keeper! 10 years old now and 135,000 miles. No issues with the exception of deleting the X-REAS and replaced it with Eibach shocks which raised my cruising altitude by 1.5” in the rear and 2.5” in the front. Now leveled and rides like a Lexus. Love the looks of the new T4R but that’s where it ends for me. I can’t justify $60k for a 4-cylinder with turbo-lag. I recently test drove a Tesla Model Y Premium (Hi Maldwin!) and came away from the drive in total disbelief. If I was to spend $60k on anything, this would be my choice. In fact, Maldwin was so impressed he bought a CyberTruck! Love Musk or hate him, the technology and integration is indisputable.
