I do not know if you all realized but the Overmarine/Mangusta website has been done over to a brand new one.

    building the mangusta 165

How is the hull of the mangusta 165 built? From a mold or is it peiced together like a cruise ship?

Onboard a Mangusta 165...this was probably on a seatrial and you can see the boat wasn't finished at the time. Taped up everywhere.

The latest Leopard 34-meter that recently launched is called "Koji", the sixteenth hull of the series.

I looked everywhere on YF and could not find this video of Moonraker so I thought I would try posting this one.

I just came across this thread, can add some info. In 2009 I was aboard Hull 3 during sea trials for an opportunity to experience the design/hull performance as client project manager hired by a ranking Emirate family to build Hull 5, a 47m Mangusta Leopard under contract with Rodriguez Group that had stalled. Hull 3 at 200tonnes on 2nd sea trial made 36knots, 4 more than predicted speed powered by 3 MTU (9000HP) driving twin Ka-me-wa jets and a centre boster. Working with the Mangusta team was a great experience that provided me some very fond memories of a very generous and highly skilled people.
