I was in Bremen yesterday and could not resist doing a little detour to one of my favorite spots on the Weser River

Luerssen is really busy. Al sheds and docks on both sides of the river are filled with projects plus yachts being worked on on the waterfront.

Quantum Blue is already back for some work. She is located in the northern Lürssen plant in floating dock 3

Pretty big boat, if you compare it with the person below the hull

You were really lucky with the light for taking Fotos.

"Global" returned to the Lürssen shipyard in Rendsburg for a refit. She will supposedly be lengthened by 20 fts.

So what are the next Lurssen projects that will be launched?
    • Jupiter
    • Sasha
    • Palo Alto
    • Thunder
What does everybody think which one will be launched next?

This year they are launching the 74m Thor and the 91m project Rio. I have also seen reports of a 104m launch..but not shure on that.

I assume next year they are going to launch Sasha and Jupiter and the other yachts will follow in 2018.

    4. Pr. Thor
    5. Pr. Sasha

    2017
    1. Pr.Rio
    2. 60-m Bannenberg-Rowell Design
    3. Pr. Nexus 70-m
    4. Pr. Opus
    5. Pr. Redwood 139-m

    2018
    1. Pr. Palo Alto

I was in Bremen today to see my grandchildren. As always during the trip a little look at the yards at the Weser River. Lurssen was quiet today, Sunday today and Omar out of town (speeding in the German bay :)).

Only Quantum Blue out of the floating dock and back at the Lemwerder quay. Local rumours say, the owner has laid off at least the majority of his crew during the winter works not having to pay them  ?!

    Nice boat, I must say.

Today Phoenix II, Quantum Blue and one more yacht in floating dock III (which I could not identify) and of course Omar at the Aumund side of the river.

Lurssen is getting ready to launch a 100m+ project Mistral. From the bow view, I don't remember seeing the hull being transferred.

Are there any photos available of this hull awaiting launch?

You are right. I cannot remember seeing this one transferred either. From the looks of it, it has a style bowsprit like "Kismet". Should be interesting.

I didn't notice that at first. Sort of looks like a Phoenix but I don't think it's a successor. I like the contrast with the sat domes. I'm looking forward to this nice surprise.

A full five decks for 105m would be impressive.

You were right, 106m long. The lack of a sun deck is making more sense given the size. I'm just curious if she will have any exterior decks when she lainches.
