Remarkably small gym for so many guests, assistants and crew!

The portevergladeswebcam caught Soulmates II as she left Fort Lauderdale shimmering in the afternoon sun.

"Solemates" :) Soulmates is actually another yacht and not the Lurssen. Although it might seem like close enough anyone might be mistakened.

It is very confusing, at least to me, when yachts change their names from the project name in this case of Katie Sue II to Solemates so much so that on many websites she is identified as Solemates II Yacht Solemates II New 60m Lurssen available for luxury charters and even as Soulmates II.

Adding to the confusion is that there is actually a yacht named Soulmate by Broward that was reviewed http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/broward-yacht/4178-review-browards-106-soulmate.html

And then of course since I grew up listening to Sam and Dave's Soul Man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd4y45O9ch4 it was too easy for me to fall into the trap of calling her Soulmate II.

Once again YN thanks again for keeping me straight! ;)

Lürssen is currently getting a new crane for the outfitting pier at Lürssen Aumund (their yard for the biggest yachts).

It replaces an old crane there which was already removed. The new crane has a max. capacity of 250 tons, with an overall height of 64m and a 50m measuring main boom.
First tests are scheduled for next week.

That's the wrong yacht, Northern Star. She has been on the market for a while now. This is her predecessor Polar Star, 63.5m (I think) built in 2005.

Polar Star was previously known as Northern Star but had her name changed by her new owner upon her sale in 2006.

What the Old Phart said. Two yachts, same exterior designer and styling and same interior designer (until Polar Star had a refit done on the interior by a new designer).

I emailed Camper & Nicholsons and they said the asking price for Polar Star is 55.000.000 Euro.

Lurssen say that there is a 66-meter in build with a design by Espen Oeino. Interesting..they are back in that size element.

Yep Ron, here is a photo of the 66m model... you can clearly see she is influenced by "Skat". I think she is gorgeous!

I agree. She looks amazing. I love the angularity, and think they have pulled it off perfectly on that model. Would love to see this one come to life.

Can't wait to see the rest of your pics.

Dang! That is sexy!!! Looks like a blend of "Skat", "Hermitage" and "Pacific" if you ask me!

That's a real good looking boat. I hope more will be released than just a model.

Spectacular yacht! Looks bigger than 66. The helipad looks kind of tight, thou.
