Project Cosmos has been technically launched from Lurssen's facility in Rendsburg.
It's a 110-metre superyacht with a...very unique design.

It seems the fire started during a welding work being carried out on a new hull.
Some sparks ignited plastic ventilation pipes creating a significant amount of smoke. The yacht's hull was not affected by the fire.

Some of you may recall that they had a major fire there in 2018.

Of course, it was Opera. She almost melted down.

A couple of months ago I copied a picture from kn-online showing a bow section built at German Naval Yards in Kiel for Lurssen and shipped to one of their shipyards. The article said it was for a yacht. Obviously it was not for project Deep Blue (different size and shape). Any idea for which project it could be?
