I had the same impression and...as Pinstripe said...nothing special, quite boring design. I was hoping for something new...special...innovative...fresh Oh, BTW..she could be a Disdale, not Heywood.
Imagine if this is the new Montkaj, there are a few elements that are similar... We can fairly say this yacht is a...patchwork of different yachts
mmhm...maybe I was wrong about the fact that she could be the new Montkaj, some German newspapers rumoured that the owner is the current owner of Serene An insider claimed that: "He ordered the yacht from Lürssen, and he even put the first weld." The insider also said the owner stopped by from time to time during the construction phase.
The finish to the main helipad and some silver grey accents I see on the stern are probably the closest elements to matching "Montkaj" . The downlighting on the stern platform entry area also reminds me of the uplighting on the area near the base of the funnel on Montkaj.
Definitely reminds me of Eclipse and Topaz. It is a little bit boring of a design but I find it quite nice! Nothing wrong with the clean lines and boring designs. Not everything can be new and exciting lol. This gives off more of a Topaz look then Eclipse.

That third open radar at the very top of the mast is very distracting! Wonder why they did not put it behind the mast like seen on many other vessels like "Dilbar", "Solaris" etc.
Yes of course that is why it is there but what I am getting at is many yachts have the third one behind the mast so they would operate the one at the back of the mast to 'complete' the picture that the front one cannot see because of the mast obstruction.
Yeah, it's not ideal from an aesthetic point of view, the position is quite weird For me, Sheherazade'solution is the messier one, four radars rotating as four drones or four mixers
A nice pic: https://bilder.t-online.de/b/91/77/...sie-ist-die-zweitgroesste-jacht-der-welt-.jpg it looks...fat
It is 22.5-meters (75-feet) wide so it would look that way. That width should have it as maybe the second most voluminous superyacht around just behind "Dilbar".
I think it's more related to her volume (as you said) and design. Scheherazade is 23.28m, Flying Fox 22.5m and they are shorter, but they don't look bulky or...fat
